Ethical Code
Prior to connecting with me for a therapeutic tarot offering, I encourage you to explore my approach, tarot philosophy, and professional boundaries
I believe that the tarot is an instrument that can promote insight and new perspectives, conjure questions, and generate self-awareness and intuition. I do not use the cards to make predictions or ensure outcomes.
I do read from the present moment and use the cards to facilitate a dialogue around your story and provide support and reflection. My reading style is collaborative and deeply investigatory.
I draw on both my background as a clinical social worker and therapist and my knowledge of the tarot to empower you to explore emotions, identify emerging paths or circumstances in your life, consider shifts in perspective, and develop deepened insight.
Before booking a tarot offering from me, I encourage you to examine your readiness for increased insight, comfort with metaphors, and your held beliefs about the tarot.
It is also possible that something in a reading or my impression of the cards won’t feel resonate for you. Your interpretation and agency in your story matters more than what I know about tarot.
As a social worker and professional tarot reader, it is my ethical responsibility to protect the confidentiality of all the information obtained during the course of our tarot sessions. I aim to foster a safe, accepting, and warm space for both in person and virtual tarot offerings - all information you disclose in our session is treated with this standard of confidentiality.
My practice is trauma-informed, queer-affirming, and BIPOC-centered.
I do not read for folks under 18 without parental consent.
